On-chain & Off-chain Logic
inD Robotics is built around a clear separation of concerns. Not everything belongs on-chain, and not everything can remain off-chain.
The system deliberately splits execution to preserve performance, security, and economic integrity.
Off-Chain Execution
Most cognitive and coordination logic operates off-chain.
This includes:
agent reasoning and decision-making
state evaluation and intent generation
real-time coordination and messaging
high-frequency interactions between agents
Off-chain execution allows agents to operate with low latency, high throughput, and flexible compute requirements. It also enables the use of diverse models and infrastructures without on-chain constraints.
On-Chain Settlement & Enforcement
On-chain logic is reserved for what requires trust minimization and verifiability.
This includes:
payment settlement and value transfer
economic incentives and rewards
permissioning and execution limits
auditability and accountability
By anchoring these components on-chain, MinD Robotics ensures that economic outcomes and critical rules are enforceable, transparent, and resistant to manipulation.
Coordinated Boundaries
The boundary between off-chain and on-chain logic is explicit.
Actions decided off-chain can trigger:
conditional payments
streaming settlements
enforcement of predefined constraints
This design allows agents to act freely while remaining economically and operationally accountable.
Why This Split Matters
Autonomous systems require speed and flexibility, but also trust.
MinD Robotics combines:
off-chain execution for efficiency
on-chain settlement for security
This balance enables scalable autonomous coordination without sacrificing economic integrity.
